About Lisa Hinshaw

Lisa Hinshaw Art is not created with hands, but with the heart. I am an Abstract Expressionist Artist, living in the Midwest. I love to paint with lots of bright colors and use a variety of mediums, such as acrylics, multimedia and digital art on canvas, paper and repurposed furniture. My purpose as an artist is to glorify God with the gifts he has given me. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I have enjoyed creating art. I come from a family of artists. Both of my parents as well as several other relatives were and are artists. I am self taught. I have never had any formal education in painting. I have inherited a God given talent which I can not refuse expressing. In 2014, God placed an intense passion in me to paint for his glory. That is my purpose. I also paint just for fun, creating beautiful works, just as he created our world. Nearly all of the artworks on this page are my own art, hand painted by myself. I have included a few pieces of art that were painted by my parents, Franklin Delano Henderson and Eleanor Jane Hutson Henderson, which I inherited from them.
