Spring is here and there are flowers everywhere! Artist Lisa F H Hinshaw created this piece entitled, "Flowers in the Window" for all of you flower lovers out there, to remind you that no matter how good or bad your day is, you can look out the window, see the beautiful flowers and know that God is still in control. Artist, Lisa F H Hinshaw exhibited this acrylic on canvas, "Will You Walk with Jesus?" over Easter weekend 2017 at an art show at 2nd Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, IL. The theme of the show was "What's So Good about Good Friday?" and featured the works of many local artists. This original oval framed piece measures 16"x20" and is available for sale.

Artist Lisa Hinshaw painted a scene of Hidden Lake, a stop on the Going to the Sun Highway in Glacier National Park. Lisa and her husband Carl celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in September 2016 by taking a tour of Glacier National Park and the Canadian Rockies. After organizing her photos from the trip, Lisa chose a photo of Hidden Lake to paint. She entered this painting into the 90th Anniversary of the McLean County Amateur Art Competition in Illinois in March 2017. There were 285 submissions and only 125 accepted. This painting, along with another entry by this artist was accepted.

Seahorses, a painting by Lisa F H Hinshaw was accepted into the McLean County Amateur Art Competition in Illinois. This is the 90th anniversary of the show. Competition to enter this show is very tight. 285 entries were submitted. Only 125 entries were accepted. Ms Hinshaw submitted 2 entries and both were accepted. Artist Lisa F H Hinshaw will exhibit her new Easter painting on Good Friday at 2nd Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, IL along with many other local artists. The theme of the show is "What's So Good About Good Friday". Her painting is entitled, "He is Faithful and True", acrylics on multimedia paper and framed with acid free mat, backing and UV glass. 10" x 10" (13 1/2" x 13 1/2" framed). The crown of thorns runs through 9 images of how Christ's death on the cross and his relationship with us, benefits all who believe and follow him.
