Starry Lights and Sunflowers is part of my Country Collection and was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night and Sunflowers in a Vase. I added fireflies (we call them lightning bugs) because I had a dream about lightning bugs and sunflowers. I fully believe in making art my own when inspired by another artist, so I changed the wind pattern. Instead of a village, I painted a sunflower field, since I live in an agricultural area.

I love to paint with lots of bright colors and use a variety of mediums, such as acrylics, multimedia and digital art on canvas, paper and repurposed furniture.
