Description
A Master's Walk. Jesus Walking on the Water.
A friend gave me 3 canvases. I wanted to paint something abstract on them.
But the Holy Spirit said, "Paint Jesus Walking on the Water.".
I said, "I don't want to paint that."
He said, "Just paint it."
I said, "I don't know how to paint that."
He said, "Just paint it."
I said, "Well, I don't know how to paint water and waves. I have never painted that before."
He said, "Just paint it."
So I said, "Ok."
I did a little research and started painting. It was the easiest think I have ever painted. It just flowed out of me, into the brush and onto the canvas.
I purposefully painted the boat over two canvases, because we are all broken in our sinful natures. If you look closely, the disciples do not have any arms. I purposely painted them without arms because we are helpless to save ourselves. The moon was replaced by the Holy Spirit. The abstract gold lines that show in the sky and through the water symbolize the deity of Christ - and that God still let me paint an abstract.
