The Spirit of Fall was created digitally with acrylics.
When I was a young child in the autumn, my sisters and I would sometimes stay overnight at our paternal grandparents house. Early in the morning, we would awaken and climb up into grandma and grandpa's bed and they would tell us stories about how Jack Frost taps on your window. Grandma would say, "He taps this way," and tap lightly several times. Grandpa would say, "No, he taps this way," and he would tap lightly several times. This went on for a while, each tapping to their own rhythm. And in doing so, they said Jack Frost taps pretty patterns on a window that are icy cold, foretelling the coming winter.

I painted Jack Frost making his first appearance in the fall. The breeze is blowing the leaves around. If you look closely at the sky, you will see Jack Frost. Tell me now, "How does Jack Frost tap on YOUR window?"

Art is not created with hands, but with the heart. I am an Abstract Expressionist Artist, living in the Midwest. I love to paint with lots of bright colors and use a variety of mediums, such as acrylics, multimedia and digital art on canvas, paper and repurposed furniture. My purpose as an artist is to glorify God with the gifts he has given me. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I have enjoyed creating art. I come from a family of artists.
